"The Anatomy of Melancholy: What It Is, With All the Kinds, Causes, Symptoms, Prognostics, and Several Cures of It" by Robert Burton. Printed by Stevens and Pardon Printers, Bell Yard, Temple Bar, London, 1840. The copy has an inscription on the first page from previous owner, and is heavily annotated in what appears to be pencil. The book is in acceptable to good antiquarian condition. The original cloth/leather cover and structural binding exhibit handling wear, most notably to spine. There is some wear to the binding and the pages show notable widespread foxing spots and toning.
