Each piece displays a traditional pastoral nturalistic scene executed in an almost naive style. gilt wood frames. Both canvases retain old auction sale tags and are housed in gilt wood frames.The frames exhibit notable wear along the edges, cracking, and losses to the original gilding. The paintings show minor surface wear, with one piece featuring a small localized area of paint flaking and loss in the lower margin, along with minor chips.
