This rare late Victorian-era industrial clock was crafted in France with exceptional quality. The functional governor balls move up and down by a central spring retainer, while large glass globes magnify the silvered dials for a striking appearance.

The case has been professionally restored: the brass polished and waxed, and the nickel plating redone by a piano restoration specialist. Original dents and dings were preserved to maintain historical character. The movement is an 8-day, time-only, lever-action mechanism; however, the barometer movement is missing. Some chips are present on the glass edges, though they do not detract from the presentation.
