An early 19th-century Staffordshire pearlware pottery figurine depicting a classical female allegorical figure of Peace styled in a Greco-Roman robe and laurel crown, holding an olive branch while burning weapons of war at her feet. The underside is unmarked by a maker's stamp, but features a handwritten marking appearing to read "El". The piece shows significant age-related wear and dark surface residue, including discoloration at the nose. The figure's arm appears to have been broken off and reattached, leaving a visible repair/crack line, along with minor chipping and wear to the stepped base upon which she stands.
