An antique late early 20th-century American patriotic wall clock featuring an 8-day brass mechanical movement by the Ansonia Clock Co. The movement brass backplate is stamped with the "Ansonia Clock Co." trademark logo alongside the company's trademarked "A" in a diamond emblem. The clock is set within a velvet-wrapped rectangular wooden plaque and an American bald eagle holding a ribbon banner inscribed with the national motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM," The clock movement is untested for timekeeping.  Condition displays age-appropriate wear, including fading, fraying,  and staining to the red velvet covering, oxidation and patina to the brass and metal elements, surface scratches, and splits to the wooden board.
