A stunning and unique late 19th-century English bronze regulator skeleton clock with superb proportions, featuring a single fusee time-only mechanism, rare seconds bit, dead beat escapement, and oversized escapement wheel. The pierced bronze case retains its original polished finish and is mounted on a fitted wood and felt base with a square-shaped glass dome. The dome has a repaired crack but remains solid.
The original two-part silvered chapter ring dial has engraved Roman numerals, original hands, and a true seconds sub-dial, all in excellent condition.
